Who is Morgan?
Morgan is the face behind the lens. I’m the owner and photographer of Gingertown Photography. I’m the GINGER of GINGERtown and I love creating beauty everywhere I goes. Whether I’m capturing photos, planting flowers, or dabbling in my latest creative hobby, I’m looking for the beauty and light in everything. I’ve been photographing weddings for 10 years and loving every minute of seeing YOUR LOVE SHINE.
What is your photography style?
My photography style is the perfect mix candid and portraiture. It’s timeless yet modern. My editing style is colorful, yet classic.

Do you take proper precautions to keep my photos safe and backed up?
Yes! Definitely yes. Both my cameras have dual card slots. That means immediately I have two copies. After your wedding/session I create a back up copy on an external hard drive and an online copy.
What type of equipment do you use?
I have a Canon R6 and Canon Mark IV body. My go to lenses are the Canon 50mm 1.2 and the Canon 35mm 1.4. I also keep the Canon 85mm 1.8, Canon 70-200mm 2.8, and Canon 20-35mm 2.8 handy. I occasionally use a Canon Speedlight flash.
Are you willing to travel?
YES!!! Travel fees may be necessary for weddings outside of southwest Michigan, northwest Indiana and Charlottesville, Virginia.
Do you charge travel fees?
Travel fees may apply in some areas of the country.
How soon will I receive my photos?
Weddings – 4 week post processing time
Portrait sessions – 2 week post processing time
How many photos will I receive?
A typical 7 hour wedding with two photographers receives around 500 edited digital images with rights to print. Some packages include rights to print. Other packages the images are available for purchase.
A typical 30 minute portrait session receives around 30+ edited digital images. Some packages include rights to print. Other packages the images are available for purchase.
Do you require a contract?
Yes, I require a signed contract.
Do you require a Retainer?
Yes, for weddings I require a $1000 non-refundable retainer.
Is your business insured?
Yes. Let me know if you’d like a copy or if your venue is requesting an add on.
